AR Drone 2.0 Hog Mod Landing Gear 30 ft Crash Test – Episode 11

Our NEW store, with shipping to every country on the planet: http://www.ARDroneShow.com – for every replacement part, and lots of great mods & upgrades for the AR Drone 2.0! If you liked our old store it’s still online and functional at www.CentralUSDroneSales.eCrater.com.

To see how to attach a Hog Mod as well as another color arrangement, see last week’s video, Episode 10. For all colors of Hog and Zip Tie Mods, check out my store.

The Hog Mod weighs 26 grams on your 412 (outdoor hull w/ stock battery) AR Drone 2.0. It flies fine with 26 extra grams, but if you’re looking to reduce weight elsewhere, removing the colored stickers from the hull will save 17 grams, and using velcro instead of magnets to secure your hull to the body will save another 5 grams. Lightweight batteries are another option, one that I don’t recommend though, and upgrade bearings over stock bushings will save another quarter of a gram or so. There are all kinds of other methods you could employ to reduce weight in general if you’re serious about it.

Subscribe to my channel! It’s free and will let you know when each week’s upgrade video has been posted, and gives you access to special discounts on those upgrades–current promotions are $2 off Ultraflight gears sets, 60beat gamepads, upgrade blue tool kits, and/or Stealth Drone Technologies upgrade bearings sets. Leave a note on the purchase saying you’re a subscriber and I’ll issue a refund that reflects the subscriber discount. Check out the home page of my store for current subscriber discounts by clicking here: http://CentralUSDroneSales.eCrater.com

Prices in my store are about 20% lower than retail pricing, all parts are genuine Parrot, with the exception of third-party upgrades, and most shipments go out in less than 24 hours First Class or Priority. Average delivery time is 3 USPS business days (Mon-Sat) in the US. Examples of low pricing: navigation boards for $53, motors for $30, and the upgrade blue tool kit at a lower price than you would pay for the standard yellow kit.

Subscribe to my channel, I’ll have a new video each week for repairs, upgrades, and flight recordings. Upcoming videos include a camera mod, flotation landing gear as seen on my channel homepage, and how to increase your maximum range. Past videos include repairs, upgrade bearings, balancing propellers, light kits, and the 60beat controller. Thanks for watching!
